We LOVE their pork sung buns which is something we usually cant get unless we go to Dallas at 85 deg bakery. They only have it during weekend dimsum tho! Service is always fast and they tend to remember what you like.

Lunch at Golden Phoenix with a friend. Golden Phoenix is one of my favorite restrauants in the Asian district. The restrauant is always buy, but I've never had to wait to be seated. Parking is sometimes a challenge. The venue was remodeled a few years ago with a modern twist to Asian decor. It's a lively scene. We orordered off the menu, that can be an exhausting experience. The menu is ginormous, and can be daunting for the inexperienced Asian diner. They also have service carts that come around with a variety of items that can be ordered a la carte, or you can mix menu items with a la carte items. Menu items are served family style. We orordered two menu items, Salt and pepper calamari and Walnut Shrimp. Both were excellent. The calamari comes with jalapeño peppers and I added red peppers. If you don't like spicy heat don't add the red peppers. The dish is mild without the red peppers. I was surprisrd how much I liked shrimp. I will be ordering it again. The prices are moderate, the service very good, the noise was surprisingly low for a busy restrauant.

Great food and good service, we came for dim sum and it did not disappoint. A couple items were no longer hot but the flavors were on point. Finished up with a Vietnamese coffee

We came here at least once a month, the food quality has been going down a little bit lately. We always have dim sum or some fresh seafood from the tank. Their cooks make great fresh Cantonese seafood dishes, the most authentic ones in town. They are on the pricey side and these dishes don't have MSG for sure. Dim sum is always good, but the quality went down a little lately. We also buy dim sum to go from Chinatown super market sometimes. They have a large selection of Cantonese, Vietnamese and American Chinese food, really nice menus. They always seem like they need more servers, all of them seem busy, sometimes it is hard to get someone when they are busy. Ambience: 8/10 Food: 8/10 Price: 10/10 Service: 5/10

Another delicious visit to the Golden Phoenix. We started with the Jellyfish, an amazing cold salad. We moved on to a clay pot dish with fish shrimp and tofu in a comforting sauce. Then my favorite Peeking Duck. Yum more great service and atmosphere....very enjoyable.

Golden Phoenix offers a bustling and authentic dim sum experience, especially during the Sunday lunch rush. Despite the busy and hectic atmosphere, the dim sum cart service was a highlight, adding to the lively vibe of the meal. The dim sum itself was delicious, with a great variety to choose from. While the xiao long bao (soup dumplings) were a bit underwhelming, we absolutely loved the football dim sum--something we'd never heard of before but are so glad we tried. It was a pleasant surprise and definitely a new favorite! Overall, a great spot for dim sum in OKC, and we'll be back to explore more of their menu.

I got here on a weekday lunch time and it was busy. The staff in front missed pronounce my name and said something completely different so we didn't get seated for a while. Most of the staff was very nice and tried to seat us asap. However there was this lady who was very aggressive and got annoyed at us when we asked if they had the shrimp siu mai and she wouldn't speak English to us even though she knew English. On the other hand, the dim sum and the duck was amazing. I really enjoyed everything we ordered and it's definitely a great Chinese dimsum place to come with family or friends!

Prior to this visit, I have only had their dim sum. My husband and I really enjoyed our experience. The service was patient with us. There were so many options, it took us a few minutes to finally decide. Their options were great. We had fried and fresh spring rolls, spare ribs, and stir fried udon noodles with seafood.

Pros: I had heard online that this restaurant started serving dim sum. My friend and I really liked it. It had all the dishes we were expecting to find. Price was decent. My favorite dish was this eggplant thing. We had a lot of leftovers. Cons: The only thing I didn't like was the deep-fried taro root. It was really bland. I tried to give it some seasoning with soy sauce, but maybe I just needed salt?
